History of the Jupiter company
The Jupiter company was established on the basis of the Moscow Experimental Factory of Musical Instruments — on the initiative of a group of renowned masters with the support of the Russian Association of Musical Instrument Makers. From day one the enterprise has produced bayans of the Jupiter system, preserving the finest making traditions.
A path three decades long
The company was established on the basis of the Moscow Experimental Factory of Musical Instruments on the initiative of renowned masters — M. V. Platonov, E. I. Gusarov, V. A. Chekanov and M. N. Rybin — with the support of the Russian Association of Musical Instrument Makers represented by A. K. Ginzburg.
The enterprise produces bayans of the Jupiter system, preserving the finest traditions and hand-craft techniques of instrument making that no assembly line can replace.
Jupiter bayans and accordions in their various modifications are unique not only in Russia and the CIS, but worldwide, and meet the high demands placed on instruments of this class.
Today the Jupiter range comprises 20 models, and the factory’s instruments are heard on leading stages around the world, in the hands of professionals and beginners alike.
